Stanko’s Maine Coons
A promise to the cats who need us
I shall startle no doubt if we ever meet in another life,
in the light of the distant world.
Stopping I will know your eyes, dark as morning stars
and know that they belonged to the forgotten twilight of a previous life.
I will say: The magic of your face is not only in them;
but has stolen the passionate light that was in my eyes at some immortal meeting,
and my love gave them the secret that is lost.
For the Cats Who Have Lost Their Home
Stanko’s Maine Coons is a program dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption of Maine Coon cats and mixes.
We recognize that Maine Coons are popular and highly sought after by adopters.
What is less widely understood is how difficult it can be to rehome them. For some cats, the bond with their humans is deeply affected by abandonment, leaving emotional scars that can become significant obstacles to recovery. Some never fully recover.
This program has been requested by Stanko.
And we will do everything we can to help as many cats carrying Maine Coon genes as possible.
